We simply couldn’t exist without your support
There are lots of ways you can give or raise funds for your local branch.
While the Kent: Ashford, Tenterden & District Branch is part of the RSPCA as a whole, as with all other Branches it is an autonomous charity and almost entirely dependent upon funds raised locally. The joy of this arrangement is that any money or food donated by the public is used in the local area, and specific information on where the money or food is going is available. To see the wider picture follow the Link on our Links page, or simply click here to access the RSPCA National Website.
Blake's Fund Cattery Sponsorship
Blake's Fund is our new way of sponsoring the Cattery. With a monthly sponsorship to Blake's Fund you would be helping every cat that comes into our care.
If you sign up you will receive:
A monthly newsletter telling you about a few of the cats that you have helped that month with their stories and photos.
Your name up on the Cattery Wall.
VIP event invitations.
A Blake's Fund Sponsorship Certificate.
We named this fund after Blake, who came in to us very young and poorly during the COVID 19 pandemic. He was featured on our social media and lots of people tuned in for his daily weighing- until he was finally well enough to go to a loving new home. Sadly his story is just one of many, through his fund you will be helping all the cats who need us when they are at their most vulnerable.

Leaving a Legacy in your Will.
Leaving part of your legacy to help protect and care for animals is a wonderful & charitable thing to do. Please remember that the Kent: Ashford, Tenterden and District branch is a separately registered charity. So, if you would like the animals in your local area to benefit, we would respectfully suggest that your legacy wording reads:
"I give devise and bequeath to the RSPCA Kent: Ashford, Tenterden and District Branch, registered charity number 208111 the sum of £x or the whole (or a share) of my residuary estate for its general charitable purposes. I declare that the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer or other proper officer of such Branch shall be a full and sufficient discharge for this legacy."

Donating food
You can donate food by bringing it directly to the cattery or via our Amazon wish list. If you shop using AmazonSmile and have selected us as your charity Amazon donates 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding vat, returns and shipping fees) All food, blankets and toys are happily accepted.
Willesborough Charity Shop
The running of the Cattery would not be possible without funds raised through our RSPCA Shop in Willesborough. A great way to help us is to pop in and either donate some items for us to sell or simply pick up a fabulous bargain. Wonderful donations arrive every day so the stock in the shop is constantly changing. Our most popular range is ladies' clothing, but come and have a look at the wide variety of items on sale: toys, children's clothes, men's clothing, accessories, music, DVDs and books.
Organise a sponsored event
Perhaps a boot fair in your area, an indoor boot fair in your local village hall, or host a coffee morning and ask everyone to bring a few things to sell like cakes or goodies from the attic?! If you are at work ask colleagues to provide pictures of themselves as babies and charge £1 per guess! (Remember to give a small prize to the winner!) Alternatively ask your colleagues to bring in a tin of pet food each and donate them to your local RSPCA Branch - that's US!!
PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH US ON 01233 646855 WITH YOUR IDEAS - AND WE'LL CALL YOU BACK TO HAVE A CHAT ABOUT HOW YOU CAN HELP. REMEMBER THAT VOLUNTEER WORK ENHANCES YOUR CV FOR GAINING PAID EMPLOYMENT!
Company Sponsorship
A great way to raise the profile of your company is to sponsor the work of the local Branch. There are many ways to do this and normally the local press love a feel good story. Your valuable business contribution can take place in many ways. There’s no need to go overboard if you don't want to, as a simple fund-raising event like a raffle, towards a specific project, or simply a collection.
