Our Services

We offer a variety of services at our branch in order to help animals in our area and their owners.  Please note, we do not have a vet on site and have to use public veterinary clinics for our own animals. If your pet requires veterinary treatment, we will be unable to offer it at our Ashford Garden Cattery.

Microchipping

£5 Microchipping Service: We offer a £5 microchipping service for cats at our Ashford Garden Cattery. This service is available to anyone, you don't need to be on a low income.
The £5 donation covers the cost of the microchip alone, so any additional donations would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to contact us ahead to book this.

To book, please contact us on branch@rspca-ashforddistrict.org.uk or call us on 01233 646 855 (8am-3pm).

We will allocate a time slot, so please arrive on time, or no more than 5 minutes before your appointment. nIf you are unable to attend please let us know.

Rehoming

As a branch of the RSPCA our first priority is to take cats in from the RSPCA inspectorate, and from other branches & hospitals within the RSPCA.

If you feel that you need to rehome your cat due to behavioural issues, financial circumstances or any other reason, please give us a call.
It is not usually possible for us to offer a space, but we may be able to offer some advice or other services, so that you may not have to rehome your cat.

You can also try a website called "Catchat" which details many of the cat rehoming centres and their contact details.

We never put a healthy animal down, we rehome cats of every age, and work alongside local vets to ensure every cat who comes through our doors leaves healthy and happy.

Every cat we take in receives comfortable accommodation (see photos) with daily cleaning & socialising, veterinary care and as much love as they want, with an option of a foster home for unsettled cats. We care for them until they find their forever home.
